Looking for a great all-inclusive stay on the tropical island of Madeira? Look no further – The Enotel Lido Hotel is a great choice for families, couples and solo travellers.
Summary
Enotel Lido is located, as the name would suggest, close to Funchal’s lido and in a lively area of the city. You will find plenty of taxis and a bus stop close by. From here, you can easily take the bus into Funchal’s old town. Additionally, the airport bus (Aerobus) stops right outside, taking you to or from Funchal Madeira (FNC) for just 6€. Alternatively, if you decide not to go all-inclusive or want a change of scene, you will find many bars, pubs and restaurants within walking distance, as well as local stores.

Upon entering, staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are a large size with all the amenities you would expect to find – flatscreen TV, Wifi, desk, safe, minibar, ensuite bathroom with bathtub, hairdryer and toiletries. The balcony provides a gorgeous view of the ocean. Stay cool during the summer with air conditioning. Enjoy tea and coffee in your room – just ask for a kettle.
Amenities
Spa and gym facilities are available as well as an indoor and outdoor pool. For those taking advantage of all-inclusive, why not enjoy a cocktail by the pool? Most drinks are included in the price of your stay, including cocktails, wines and beers. In addition, if you want a drink or snack after the bar has closed, self-service is available on level 1.
Dining
Buffet dinners consist of a large variety of cuisines and options from across the world. There are 3 bars and 5 restaurants all on site. Also, eat as much as you like, all at no extra cost. You can then enjoy some of the entertainment provided by the hotel.
Furthermore, the hotel is clean throughout, and your room is refreshed daily. See photos – credit to Bobbie Isabel Davis.
