Flights from anywhere in the world except London
I’d recommend Kiwi, as they not only search the web and suggest travel hacks; they handle the online check-in process for you and you can book multiple flights with just one payment. You can also set up price alerts and sometimes hold prices for 3 days if you aren’t sure a flight is right for you. On most bookings, they provide the PNR (reference number) so you can check in or view your reservation online directly on the airline’s site should you wish, or add extras to your booking at no extra cost. Flights from London
If you are departing from London, find out how to get a BA reward flight here – for flights from London I’d recommend British Airways as they offer Executive Club members (it’s free to join and you can earn rewards here,) free seat selection from 24 hours before (excluding extra leg-room seats,) a free drink and snack on all flights and 2 items of hand luggage free, even in economy class. When you add these extras to a low-cost airline, it can be cheaper to fly with BA.
Get a BA AmEx
If you get the BA AmEx with my link above, you earn 1 Avios per £1 spent on most purchases in addition to miles for your BA flights too. It’s free to join although you do need to be a UK resident, aged 18+ and it requires a credit check. If you’re not accepted, you can still join BA’s Executive Club and earn miles for your flights.
